The easy bill splitting app for friends in Bangladesh
Adda bills, birthday treats, a tour hotel, the flat’s wifi: remembering who paid and who still owes is a headache. Write a bill into Mitmat once and the app keeps the rest of the hisab for you.
How to split a bill in Mitmat
- Create a group (adda, flat, mess, tour or event), or keep a 1:1 balance with one friend.
- Add who paid, how much and what for.
- Choose how to split: equally, exact amounts, percentages or shares (for example 2 shares and 1 share).
- Mitmat shows straight away who owes whom.
Four ways to split
- Equally: a ৳1,200 bill for 4 people is ৳300 each.
- Exact amounts: everyone pays for what they ordered.
- Percentages: for example rent split 40% / 60%.
- Shares: the big room pays 2 shares, the small room 1.
Settle up in bKash or Nagad
When it is time to pay, Mitmat copies your friend’s number and the amount and opens your own bKash or Nagad app. You pay inside your app and can save the TrxID. Cash payments can be recorded too.
Mitmat never holds your money and never asks for your bKash or Nagad PIN or OTP.
Friends without the app can still see the balance
Anyone can open the group’s invite link in a browser to see who owes whom. Joining the group and adding bills happen in the app.
